Atelier Valenciado is a casual chic and sportswear fashion brand founded in 2021 by Allan Hannit, accompanied by a customer experience specialist and a tailor. With 70% of its offering made-to-measure, the brand made a name for itself with its signature piece: the kimono, inspired by Allan’s desire to stand out at a prom in 2017.

In 2024, Atelier Valenciado embarked on a strategic rebranding to better position itself in the premium and high-end market, focusing on local sourcing and “Made in Côte d’Ivoire”.

D Taylor is a brand based in Abidjan, embodying the perfect balance between Vietnamese finesse and Ivorian elegance. Founded by Donia Diallo, it subtly fuses the cultural and artisanal influences of both countries to create unique, sophisticated pieces.

Through impeccable cuts, noble materials and meticulous finishing, D Taylor offers timeless, elegant and authentic fashion, at the crossroads of tradition and modernity.

Djainin is a ready-to-wear brand launched in November 2022 by Gaston and Jean-Yves. Its DNA is based on a blend of streetwear and African culture, serving as a medium for telling the story of Africa and its various ethnic groups.

Denim, and more specifically jeans, are at the heart of the garments, offering a touch of modernity and authenticity.

L.E Creations is an Ivorian fashion accessories and ready-to-wear brand founded by Liliane Saïd. Each year, she designs a new collection of bags, accessories and garments, boldly combining materials such as wax and jute.

Designed for everyday wear, her creations are distinguished by a casual-chic effect, deeply rooted in African identity.

Maison Kanty’s is a ready-to-wear brand, founded in 2019 by William McKenzie and Thierry Aguy, two childhood friends sharing a common passion for fashion.

Initially specializing in men’s shirts, the brand has since expanded to offer men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections. Each piece is hand-crafted, guaranteeing an exceptional finish.

Maison Kanty’s also won the Jeunes Talents competition at Fashion Week by Elie Kuame.

Maison Mikhail, headed by Amoa Michael Ndohou, is a high-end menswear brand. It stands out for its exceptional craftsmanship, offering garments and accessories that combine timeless elegance with premium quality.

 Mod Ethnik is an Ivorian fashion brand that combines modern design with traditional African fabrics, including wax prints, batiks, and kente cloth, to create pieces that are both beautiful and functional. Mod Ethnik clothing is available online and through retailers in Europe and Canada.

Monabi is a unisex ready-to-wear brand founded in May 2019. It quickly stood out by collaborating with Miss Côte d’Ivoire in June of the same year. Yannick Tra created Monabi to express his personality through original clothing while being a voice for marginalized people. He firmly believes that clothing plays a key role in non-verbal communication. The brand highlights African and Ivorian craftsmanship, valuing local expertise through its collections

MICI (Made in Côte d’Ivoire) is a brand founded in 2021 by Franck Olivier Houphouet. After noticing a lack of diversity in products available in Abidjan, particularly in the sportswear sector, Franck decided to fill this gap by positioning MICI as a pioneer of chic sportswear in Africa. The city, mostly dominated by tailoring, now sees MICI as a unique force in the market.

Modeste Ba is renowned for his exceptional talent and unwavering commitment to the art of sewing, both for bridal and ready-to-wear collections. Despite his name evoking modesty, his portfolio reflects a significant impact. Modeste Ba has established himself as an essential figure, making dreams come true with every stitch.

Niamien Couture is a brand established by Franck Gnamien, one of Côte d’Ivoire’s most prominent designers. Since the creation of the brand, Franck has showcased his creations at fashion shows across Africa and internationally, including Canada and Europe.

He believes that his art has no boundaries and always follows his instincts when designing new collections.

Olivia Perez is a pioneer in the Ivorian fashion scene. From a very young age, designer Sophia Schaub-Vincent was interested in sewing and expressed the will to learn from her mother how to make her own clothing.

At just 10 years old, she became an apprentice in her mother’s atelier. Later in life, she became a banker and realized that classic office wear wasn’t designed to accentuate the body shapes of African women. In 2014, she created the Olivia Perez brand with a mission to enhance the natural figure of the active African woman through contemporary garments made from rich local textiles.

Studio Madoch is a clothing brand based in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Founded by Lewis Mardochée Tahou, the brand stands out with its innovative design approach and its emphasis on African textiles.

 Tailor Le Fauve is a brand specializing in tailor-made suits that perfectly fit every man in Côte d’Ivoire’s cities. Their flagship product is undoubtedly the classic dinner jacket, embodying the characteristic elegance of its designers: Sydney Souanga, Philippe Lebry, and Stéphane Petey.

Tailor Le Fauve’s creations result from exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, offering suits that combine style, comfort, and quality.

 Born in Lebanon, Wafa Sarkis fell in love with Côte d’Ivoire when she visited the country in 2004. She decided to settle there and launch her brand, Wafa Haute Couture. She opened her first store in 2012.

Her clothing is a beautiful blend of Eastern and African cultures. Her goal is to highlight feminine elegance. Within 10 years, she has become a key figure in the Ivorian fashion scene.

 18Montagnes is a 100% African brand that celebrates elements of African culture, such as cowrie shells and Baoulé weights, with production based in Côte d’Ivoire.

Founded by Massara Dupré, the brand aims to showcase African pride through its creations and make African pieces as common as those from the United States or Europe.

Africa Diamonds is an Ivorian startup specializing in designing handbags. The founder, Tiendaga Maria José, proudly produces her items exclusively in Côte d’Ivoire.

Her bags maintain a distinctive artisanal touch, aiming to appeal to both local and expatriate clients.

 Bee’s is a jewelry and accessories brand founded by Sabine Nbia. The brand began in 2011 with a project inspired by Afro-descendants seeking to reconnect with their African roots.

In 2015, Sabine decided to professionalize Bee’s, and the brand was officially registered in 2018.

It has since participated in the performance accelerator in partnership with the Institut Français de la Mode, strengthening its development and impact.

 Dandy & Co is a jewelry artisan brand founded by Meite. Passionate about jewelry since childhood, he started his craft in 2008 and is a self-taught artisan.

Engelo Boté, 38, is one of the pioneers of premium artisanal shoemaking in Côte d’Ivoire. In 2014, he founded Maison Engelo Boté, inspired by his African heritage. His shoes are crafted in Côte d’Ivoire by local artisans.

Founded by Mr. Toba, JEWELSBYJMT is much more than just a millinery brand: it embodies a subtle alliance between tradition and modernity in the service of fashion.

Drawing its inspiration from the Akan culture, from which its creator hails, the brand integrates Baoulé weights – ancestral symbols of the Ivorian and Ghanaian tribes – into its designs.

Present in several concept stores in Abidjan, JEWELSBYJMT is also exporting to France, the United States, England, Benin and Mali. Its founder, who holds a degree in market finance and corporate strategy, honed his expertise during three years as a personal shopper at the Bon Marché Rive Gauche.

Launched in 2021 by Ama, Mawuya is a leather goods brand born from the creation of a pouch adorned with cowries, a rare and distinctive accessory in Abidjan, quickly adopted as a must-have gift.

Inspired by the vibrant colors and serenity of the beaches, Ama developed its own designs, giving birth to original creations proudly made in Côte d’Ivoire. With a loyal clientele seduced by the authenticity of its pieces, Mawuya has established itself without recourse to sponsored advertising.

Founded by Désiré and Marc-Arthur, Oman Noir (Original Man Noir) was born of a passion for fashion and an observation: the difficulty of finding unique second-hand clothes. So they decided to create their own brand, while continuing to offer carefully selected vintage pieces. Oman Noir embodies an urban and contemporary vision of African fashion, moving away from traditional fabrics such as wax to reinvent the continent’s clothing style.

Founded in 2020 by Khadija Silué, Seko Sandals is an Ivorian footwear brand for men and women. Combining comfort and elegance, it aims to enhance local know-how and establish itself on the Ivorian market with models that are both trendy and durable.

Alavye Naturelle is an Ivorian brand of 100% natural cosmetics, designed to sublimate type 4C curly hair. Produced locally by artisans, its products combine unique scents and light textures to reveal the natural beauty of frizzy hair.

The brand adopts a hybrid distribution strategy: 30% of sales are online, while 70% come from wholesale. Alavye Naturelle is distributed in 13 pharmacies, 3 supermarkets (Auchan, Bon Prix, Supmarket) and a specialized boutique, La Boutique Paysanne.

Offering prices 30% lower than those of its competitors, the brand combines accessibility, quality and innovation, with packaging inspired by African identity.

Founded in 2022 and officially established in 2024 by Casthelie Legre, Nadrelie is a natural cosmetics brand inspired by ancestral African traditions.

Its success began with its handcrafted soaps, each telling a story rooted in culture and nature. Driven by personal experience – having overcome health problems with plants – Casthelie Legre created Nadrelie to offer natural solutions for sensitive and blemished skin.

Through its products, the brand encourages a return to basics and an eco-responsible approach to beauty.

Le Riz Local de Judith is a 100% Ivorian rice brand, founded by Judith Laure Koné. After graduating from an agricultural college and several years in the private sector, she noticed the scarcity of local rice on the Ivorian market.

Keen to promote sustainable, chemical-free production, she launched her own brand to offer consumers quality rice grown and processed in Côte d’Ivoire.
